A Prayer of Thanksgiving
I come to You now with so much to thank You for.
As your child I want to shout for joy and sing Your praises for all You have
done for me.
Thank You for these moments when I withdraw from
the world's pressures and anxieties into a quiet place where the sun is shining
and the green trees are bending against blue skies, the flowers are blooming,
the grass is green, and the water is clean.
There is a fresh fragrance in the air and I sense
it is the presence of my God whose love and peace is filling my life now.
Father, give me now the courage to step into life
with new drive and motivation. Help me to channel the creative ideas You give me
into beautiful life-changing goals.
Give me the strength to hold on to hope as I meet the many challenges throughout
the day.
And Lord, give me love as I share with others all
the things You have done in my life.
So I may say with integrity to those I meet, "God loves you and so do I." Amen. |
