New Possibilities
O Lord, I praise You this morning and sing songs of
joy because of the peace, the love, and the hope that You have given me.
I look expectantly to the new dreams You want me to
dream, the new goals You want me to reach, and the new mountains You want me to
climb.
As I scale the mountain trail, I pray that You will
refresh me with unexpected meadows along the way, that You will shelter me when
I am beset by storms. And that You will give me the grace to look for the gold
mines in the detours.
I have within me the capacity to be a gem, a jewel,
and a light to those who are struggling around me.
So help me, Lord, to discover the possibilities that You have put in each new
day.
Help me to see the face that needs Your smile, open my ears to the cries of our
hurting world, and give me the courage to touch the lives that so desperately
need You.
I praise You, I love You, and I trust You, O Lord,
my strength and my Redeemer. Amen. |
