Welcome to Shepherd United Methodist Church

New Opportunities at SUMC

Several new opportunities for serving our community are coming up at SUMC.  Please click on the GETTING INVOLVED tab for information about a new small group, the Isabella County Restoration House (homeless shelter), a knitting service project for November, and the 2015 Nutrition Club.

A welcome from Pastor Kathy

sumc logoWelcome to our web site. As you look around, I hope you get a glimpse of the life of the congregation here at Shepherd United Methodist Church.

We are people who worship together, work together, and fellowship together. We take seriously Jesus’ commandments that we are to love God with all that we are and all that we have, and that we are to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. We care for one another, people in our local community and in our world through prayer, service, and mission giving. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we strive to be the people and faith community God created us to be.

Peace and grace,

Pastor Kathy Kursch
