We are people who worship together, work together, and fellowship together. We take seriously Jesus’ commandments that we are to love God with all that we are and all that we have, and that we are to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. We care for one another, people in our local community and in our world through prayer, service, and mission giving. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we strive to be the people and faith community God created us to be.

The Lydia Circle of Shepherd UMW is the organized of United Methodist Women. Our purpose is to be a community of women whose Purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
The next Lydia Circile will be on Monday, May 20 at 7:00 P.M. The meeting will be held at the church. Dean and Sharon Travis will present reflections on their recent Alaskan Bear trip. ALL ARE WELCOME--this program will be of interest to both men and women.
The Lydia Circle meets once a month; meeting times are published as scheduled.
