CROP Hunger Walks help children and families worldwide-and right here in the U.S.-to have food for today, while building for a better tomorrow.

Each year som two million CROP Hunger Walkers, volunteers, and sponsors put their hearts and soles in motion, raising over $16 million per year to help end hunger and poverty around the world and in their own communities.

The New Testament Study Group will resume on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.

You are invited to join me on a journey. I and anyone who is interested in participating will begin reading and discussing our way through the books of the New Testament.

It will be an opportunity to become more familiar with the various books, to explore and nurture your faith, to share with others on the journey, and to enjoy good fellowship. Beginning Bible readers are welcome!

The study group meets each Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.  in the church library.

I look forward to exploring and discussing God’s word with everyone!

Pastor Kathy invites everyone to join her Wednesday mornings at 9:30 in the sanctuary for 15 to 20 minutes spent in intentional prayer.

Topics of prayer will be for the current joys and concerns for the congregation, community and the world, as well as intentional prayer for the mission and ministry of our local church. During this time there will be a time to share joys and concerns, a quiet time personal reflection and prayer, and a time of prayer as those gathered in community.
